How to Make Dog Treats at Home

You need to gather together your ingredients, first of all. For these treats you'll need 1/2 cup of margarine, an egg, 3/4 cup of cornmeal, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of chicken flavor, 3 cups of whole wheat flour, 1/2 cup of shredded cheese, one cup of oatmeal, and 3/4 cup of milk.
Now comes our next step for learning how to make dog treats: Mix all your ingredients up. But not all together! Mix together all the dry ingredients (except for the flour), then mix together the wet ingredients in another bowl.
After that, you take both the wet and dry ingredients and mix them well. Everything all nice and mixed? Great. Now we come to the flour: Add 1/2 cup of flour at a time, stirring after each 1/2 cup.
You can use cookie cutters to cut these treats or you can drop them on the cookie pan like drop cookies.
